SEAMEO RECFON held a Workshop on the 2025 Activities Achievement and 2026 Program Planning, 8-10 December 2025 in a hybrid format, with offline activities conducted at the Mercure Jakarta Simatupang Hotel and online participation. The workshop aimed to review the institution’s performance achievements throughout 2025 and to develop strategic directions for the upcoming year.
During the workshop, participants attended presentations by Rekso Grahara, S.IP., M.Si. from the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education of the Republic of Indonesia and Dr. dr. Brian Sriprahastuti, MPH. The sessions covered program and budget planning, Input Cost Standard (SBM) policies for Fiscal Year 2026, and the direction of nutrition programs under the 2025–2029 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN).
During 2025, SEAMEO RECFON successfully produced 16 international journal articles and 9 national journal articles, along with 25 Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and 4 book publications. In addition, SEAMEO RECFON conducted the Training on Health and Nutrition for School Communities, reaching 561 schools/madrasahs and engaging 689 teachers and principals. Furthermore, the Centre plans to launch 5 policy briefs as part of its flagship program.
In addition, the workshop involved group discussions based on the mandate and work units of SEAMEO RECFON. Each unit presented its performance achievements in 2025, along with challenges and recommendations for improvement in the following year.
Furthermore, the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) session within the SEAMEO organization strengthened participants’ understanding of the importance of sustainable performance management. The results of the evaluation and discussions were summarized as the foundation for preparing the 2026 program plan and budget.
