SEAMEO RECFON held a Webinar “New Year, New Manuscript on January 17, 2024 as part of the Centre’s manuscript writing workshop at the Mercure Hotel Cikini for its staff and research partners. The webinar and the workshop aimed to increase the knowledge and abilities of SEAMEO RECFON researchers and partners in writing scientific articles that comply with publication standards in reputable international journals.
More than a hundred participants joined this webinar which featured three guest speakers who delivered interesting topics based on their expertise. Bambang Sumintono, Ph.D from Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII) discussed about The Rasch Model as a method in validating a research instrument. The second speaker, Prof. dr. Indah Suci Widyahening, Ph.D, SEAMEO RECFON Expert and Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia, delivered her topic about Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis for research on health and nutrition. Lastly, Prof. Dr. dr. Rina Agustina, M.Gizi, Head of Nutrition Cluster IMERI and Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia, shared her experiences on How to Respond Reviewer’s Comments
