The SEAMEO Secretariat and the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) are pleased to announce the 2nd ASEAN Energy Youth Awards (AEYA) with the support of the Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy (MOTIE) and Korea Energy Agency (KEA).
The objective of AEYA is to recognise the students’ valuable contribution to nation-building, sustainable development, and energy transition in the ASEAN region. The Award consists of three (3) categories, namely, (i) Essay, (ii) Infographic Poster, and (iii) Video. The theme of this year’s awards is “Innovation and Creativity Towards Sustainable and Resilient Energy System in ASEAN”. The awards are open for high school, college and university students to join. The deadline of submission is 31 July 2021.
The selected winners and runners-up will receive the awards during the awarding ceremony of ASEAN Energy Awards which will be held in conjunction with the 39th ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting (AMEM) in September 2021.
